Samuel Goldwyn Jr., the second generation of a Hollywood family dynasty, died Friday at age 88.
Goldwyn, producer of such films as “Mystic Pizza” and “Maser and Commander,” was the son of a founder of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.
His sons are also well-known in the entertainment business. Tony Goldwyn plays President Fitzgerald Grant on “Scandal” and has appeared in such movies as “Ghost.”
Another son, John, is former vice chairman of Paramount Pictures and producer of “Dexter” and “Baby Mama.”
