Rita Moreno and other EGOTs

Rita Moreno, who at age 82 seduced the SAG Awards audience Sunday by flirting with much-younger actors, singing her acceptance speech for lifetime achievement and dropping an f-bomb, belongs to an elite group.

She and only 10 other entertainers are EGOTs - winners of Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards.

The graphic above shows all 11. (For an interactive version, see the Muckety map.)

Actors dominate. In addition to Moreno: Helen Hayes, Audrey Hepburn, John Gielgud, Whoopi Goldberg.

Musicians come next: Richard Rodgers, Marvin Hamlisch and the lesser-known Jonathan Tunick.

Directors Mike Nichols and Mel Brooks are on the list, as is producer Scott Rudin. Rudin entered the exclusive club in 2012, after winning a Grammy for “The Book of Mormon.”
