At Muckety, we map relationships, and measure people’s influence by the number and quality of connections they have.

Taylor Swift turns our premise upside down.

She’s the only person we can think of (perhaps you have some suggestions?) whose fortunes rise by ending relationships.

Her breakup songs, reportedly based on real-life romances, soar to the top of the charts.

Now love lost has extended to another type of financial gain.

TMZ reports that Swift has sold the house she bought in Hyannis Port, MA, to be close to her now ex-boyfriend, Conor Kennedy.

She bought the home for $4.8 million and sold it at a cool profit of $875,000.

Some good advice for choosing future boyfriends: Location, location, location.
