Facebook’s public offering could put founder Mark Zuckerberg among the top 10 richest people in the world, with an estimated fortune of $21 billion to $28 billion.

According to the IPO documents, filed Wednesday, Zuckerberg plans to sell some of his stock. He is the company’s largest shareholder, with about 28 percent of its stock. At age 27, he already has pledged most of his wealth to charity.

The other major stockholders are Accel Partners, DST Global and Dustin Moskovitz, who holds 7.6 percent of the shares.

Like Zuckerberg, Moskovitz has signed on to the Giving Pledge program, promising most of his wealth to philanthropic causes.

The map above shows some of the people and companies who will fare well with the IPO.

The New York Times has an envy-provoking piece about the lesser lights of Facebook who stand to make smaller, but still substantial fortunes.

They include an artist who accepted stock rather than cash to decorate the company’s early headquarters. He could reap as much as $200 million.
