British musician/producer Mark Ronson is definitely a Muckety head. Check out the chart he recently drew for New York magazine.

Given his personal and professional lives, relationship mapping comes naturally to Ronson.

He has produced Amy Winehouse’s blockbuster Back to Black as well his own albums. His sister, Charlotte, is a fashion designer to the stars. Her twin, Samantha, is an international DJ. Their stepfather is Mick Jones of Foreigner.

Growing up, their houseguests included the likes of Al Pacino, Andy Warhol and Keith Richards.

Magazine writer Saki Knafo records the evolution of Ronson’s personal map:

Leaning over a small desk in a spare bedroom, he wrote a single word at the top of a large envelope: ME.

An hour later, both sides of the envelope were covered with a diagram of famous and not-famous and famous-only-because-Ronson-made-them-famous names.

Knafo adds: “Ronson is often called ‘the best-connected man in music,’ which he resents, even though he clearly takes a lot of pride in his relationships.”
