Maybe AIG executives should unionize.
The Wall Street Journal reports that five top execs have notified the company that they’re prepared to walk out if the federal government cuts their pay.
The warning is a ratcheting up of the ongoing debate between AIG, which was bailed out with $182 billion in government commitments, and the federal pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg, who wants salaries capped at $500,000.
The disgruntled can call themselves AFENMSF-WTCGBU - The American Federation of Employees No Longer Making Seven Figures - While the Company Goes Belly Up.
