Thursday claimed the lives of two pop culture icons: Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett.

Farrah Fawcett’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal is the father of actress Tatum O’Neal, who struck up a friendship with Michael Jackson when she was 12 and he was 17.

According to People, Tatum O’Neal and Jackson spent time together and reportedly kissed. Jackson later claimed that O’Neal attempted to seduce him, which she then denied.

Fawcett, 63, died of cancer at Thursday morning at St. John’s Heath Center in Santa Monica, CA.

Jackson, 50, was pronounced dead five hours later at UCLA Medical Center.

Ed McMahon, who died Tuesday at age 86, can also be connected to Jackson and Fawcett.

McMahon lived in the gated community The Summit in Hollywood Hills, CA, the former address of actress Jennifer Lopez. Lopez was once engaged to Ben Affleck, who used to date Gwyneth Paltrow.

Paltrow considers Winona Ryder a former friend, and Ryder shared an attorney, Mark J. Geragos, with Michael Jackson.
