Massachusetts’ top securities regulator has sued Fairfield Greenwich Group, which directed billions of dollars of its clients’ money into Bernard L. Madoff’s investment firm, reports the New York Times. The complaint alleges that Fairfield’s lack of diligence and misrepresentations to investors amounted to fraud.
