High-profile celeb manager Benny Medina may be having having diva trouble.
His longtime client, Mariah Carey, is rumored to be considering dropping Medina as her manager because of speculation that Medina is reuniting with his former client, Jennifer Lopez.
Cityfile has reported that Medina has been spending time with Lopez in St. Tropez last week.
Lopez fired Medina in June 2003, and filed a lawsuit against him several weeks later.

The singer and actress claimed Medina went beyond his duties as her manager to act also as her talent agent, a role he was not certified or hired to fulfill. Lopez claimed Medina brokered the deal for her to star in the 2004 film Shall We Dance? as well as her endorsement deal with L’Oreal cosmetics.
Lopez sued to end all contact with Medina and his company, Handprint Entertainment, and to curtail royalties he was to receive from acting as her agent.
At the time, Medina told Variety, “After years of trying to develop this career, the accusations are very offensive and hurtful. It’s like being kicked in the gut.”
Despite spending time with Medina, Lopez has yet to officially re-hire Medina as her manager.
Carey will be the third client Medina has lost recently, if the singer decides to end her management contract. In 2007, Medina was fired by former model turned talk show host, Tyra Banks.
R&B singer Usher also split from Medina and re-hired his mother as his manager, despite rumors that she didn’t get along with Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster.
Carey is said to be disappointed with Medina after experiencing lackluster sales from her last album, E=MC2, which didn’t come close to the sales of her last album. The Emancipation of Mimi sold 4.97 million copies, making it the was the highest-selling album of 2005.
Medina denied the split from Carey to the New York Post on Friday, explaining “We’re restructuring her company and streamlining it. That’s all.”
