What, no Lois Weisenberg?
#2. Carol Eisenberg 05.22.2008
Do you mean Louis Weisberg? we have only one connection for her in our database — on the board of After School Matters. What connections do you know of?

I had exactly the same thought as Davey! I saw the list and immediately did a “find” for “Lois Weisberg.” Go read Malcolm Gladwell’s classic article http://www.gladwell.com/1999/1999_01_11_a_weisberg.htm
Or even just google her.

Thanks Ann. Gladwell’s piece on her is wonderful. We compiled our list by looking at executive leadership and board memberships, rather than by taking a survey of Chicagoans, and obviously, her network is made up of many informal relationships that wouldn’t show up in board lists. But I’ve added some of her connections to our database.
#5. Robert Blackwell Jr. 05.23.2008
Your information on Robert Blackwell Sr. is incorrect in two areas.
1. Robert Blackwell Jr. not Sr. is a Director of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce
2. Robert Blackwell Jr. not Sr. is a member of the Obama Finance Team
#6. Carol Eisenberg 05.23.2008
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. We are correcting it.

What about Ralph G. Moore, President of RGMA, Inc. He is only the head of THE largest and most influential Management Consulting Firms in Chicago if not the nation specializing in Supplier Diversity. There is just about NO ONE on your list who doesn’t know and interact in big ways behind the scenes with Ralph Moore. He is A Trustee of the City Colleges of Chicago, Major League Baseball, also on the Board of The University of Chicago Hospitals (who hired Michelle Obama). Check your facts Muckety…He’s a Muckety Muck! very connected indeed and may very well go to Washington with the President. I believe his daughter Averi Thomas-Moore may be interning in the Senator’s D. C. office next fall.
