The amount included $500,000 base salary, plus a bonus of $16.15 million and stock incentives of $25 million. Other compensation, of $230,000, included air travel, car service and 401K.
Southwest Airlines Chairman Herb Kelleher reported yesterday that he had sold 25,000 shares of Southwest stock, grossing $309,000. He continues to hold 2.9 million shares.
Bill Gates’s investment company, Cascade Investment, sold 220,000 shares of Pacific Ethanol, Inc. late last week, for a total $699,000.
