Two rival newspaper publishing families, the Hearsts and the Pulitzers, can now be connected through fashion.
Amanda Hearst is the 23-year-old great-granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst, the publisher who inspired Citizen Kane and founded the Hearst Corporation.
Amanda Hearst has modeled for the clothing line Lilly Pulitzer. Lilly Pulitzer, the founder of the clothing line, was married to Peter Pulitzer, the grandson of legendary Joseph Pulitzer, who established the Pulitzer Prize.
Amanda Hearst is also the niece of Patty Hearst, who made international headlines when she was kidnapped at 19. Patty Hearst recently entered her French bulldog, Diva, in the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, and took the prize for best of opposite sex.
