Project Runway named its fourth winner last night. He’s “fierce.”

The finalists faced off on the Bryant Park runway last month, but the results for the reality show competition weren’t broadcast until last night, in the show’s season finale.

Christian Siriano, the youngest competitor this season, might not have had the hefty resume of the other two finalists, but he came out on top after the three finalists battled at New York’s fashion week. After winning, Siriano told viewers, “This won’t be the last of Christian Siriano. I mean, people need to see more of the fierceness.”

Jillian Lewis, the second-runner up, was a designer for both Searle and Rugby by Ralph Lauren before joining the cast of Project Runway’s fourth season.

Rami Kashou, who took second in last night’s fashion face-off, also had impressive experience before he was cast on Project Runway. Kashou presented a collection at Bryant Park in 2003 and has designed looks for Jessica Alba, Fergie, Tyra Banks, Lucy Liu, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Penelope Cruz.

Kashou has also designed clothing for the billboard ads for another reality show: America’s Next Top Model. There was more crossover between the two fashion reality shows, as cycle 8 winner Jaslene Gonzales walked the Project Runway fashion show for Jillian Lewis. Top Model alums Dani Evans and Bianca Golden also modeled for Project Runway runners-up Chris March and Sweet P, who also showed in the fashion show, although their collections weren’t televised.

As part of his prize for winning Project Runway, Siriano will be able to sell his line on Bluefly.com. This is the first time Project Runway is supplying its winner with a popular and accessible retailer.

It’s likely that Siranio will be able to get his designs to the public more quickly than past winners Jay McCarroll, Chloe Dao and Jeffery Sebelia. Dao and Sebelia both own boutiques selling their clothing lines.

Siriano was named the victor by Project Runway resident judges: Nina Garcia, the fashion director of Elle magazine, designer Michael Kors, and supermodel Heidi Klum.

Spice Girl and budding designer Victoria Beckham was a guest judge for the season finale. Beckham reportedly will continue her role in fashion television. The UK branch of Marie Claire reported yesterday that she is in talks to star in her own reality show on Fox where she would intervene in fashion nightmares.
