Surprise, Maria Shriver endorses Obama

Last week California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Republican John McCain for president. Sunday, the governor’s wife, Maria Shriver, endorsed Democrat Barack Obama.

”This is not just about the Democratic party … this is also about California,” Shriver said at a rally at UCLA, where she joined Obama’s wife, Michelle, Oprah Winfrey and Caroline Kennedy.

”If Barack Obama was a state, he’d be California,” Shriver said at the rally.

Shriver and Caroline Kennedy are cousins. Last week, Kennedy endorsed Obama.
Marinucci wrote that it should be an interesting time around the governor’s house this week.
