What do Jack Shephard, Paris Hilton, Robert Levy, Andre Agassi, 50 Cent, “Don’t tase me, bro!”, Robert Chambers, Barry Bonds, Benny Hinn and Northrop Grumman Corp. have in common?
They were the subjects of some of the most read stories on Muckety during 2007.
New Year’s offers us a time to reflect on the year past as well as to look forward to the year ahead. So, we at Muckety decided to look back at the most popular stories on our site from 2007. (Since we didn’t launch until mid-June, we really have only half a year of stories).
Emily Morgan’s story and the relationship map of the characters from the television show Lost takes the top prize. It did have an advantage over many of the other stories since it was on the site for the longest time, but the international audience who came to see the mappa interattiva delle connessioni di Lost helped to push it to the top.
The readers of Outdoors Unlimited and the GunNewsDaily web sites found A. James Memmott’s story on Robert Levy and the D.C. gun lawsuit quite interesting, pushing it to the number two spot.
The community of readers at FloridaTennisNews had a nice volly with Ali Jones’ story about Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s business empire.
Gary Jacobson’s piece on the directors at Washington Mutual, the nation’s largest savings and loan, struck a chord with folks who own or don’t want to own WaMu stock.
It has been a fun and exciting year. We want to thank all of our readers for stopping by Muckety in 2007, and we hope to see more of you in 2008. Looking forward, we know it will be great!
