The Connie Mack dynasty extended its reach over the weekend.
After a two-year courtship, U.S. Rep. Connie Mack IV of Florida married U.S. Rep. Mary Bono of California.

Mack is the son of former U.S. Sen. Connie Mack III, who served as best man. His great-grandfather was baseball Hall of Famer Connie Mack.
Another great-grandfather, Morris Sheppard, was a congressman and U.S. senator, as was his step-great-grandfather, Thomas T. Connally.
Bono is the widow of Sonny Bono, pop singer, TV personality and congressman, who died in a skiing accident in 1998.
